Patricia J. Unruh
Director of Programming

Particia Unruh is the Director of Programming at A.N.D. She began her work at The Centre for Neurological Rehabilitation in 1978 as an administrator. Patricia brought with her innovative ideas as well as a wealth of experience in administrative management after working with Consumer Affairs for the Pennsylvania Senate. Her organizational and social skills were an asset to the efficient running of The Centre.

After attending Delaware County Community College and West Chester University, Patricia studied with Dr. Unruh for the next five years learning the exercises that the families were to carry out. This involved specialized training in understanding each specific exercise and its function in neurological rehabilitation. In 1984, she started her new position at The Centre as the Coordinator of the Programs. In this capacity, Patricia worked directly with the families to orientate them in Dr. Unruh’s ideas and methods. Her role is to teach the families how to do the exercises properly in order to get the maximum benefit.

Patricia presently works with Dr. Unruh in the United States in Pennsylvania, Florida and Laredo, Texas. In Europe, they work together in Belgium and Spain. Together, they make a united team to help handicapped children reach their potential so that they can be all that is possible.
